The Mrefu eco-lodge is situated 6km away from the Marangu gate, at an altitude of 6000 ft above sea level. It boasts 7 rooms, including 5 double rooms and 2 twin rooms. Our location makes us perfect for acclimatizing before embarking on a Kilimanjaro climb. We serve food sourced from our organic vegetable garden, and there’s a stunning waterfall close by. Guests can explore the Chagga Tribal Culture Centre or visit local attractions like the blacksmith or brewery, where they demonstrate how to make Banana Beer.
