4. Reach out-‘n ‘stay in’ touch!
Dear Members.
I’m about to let you in on a secret.
You may not have realised it, but as a tour operator, you could possess one extremely valuable asset that will make you unstoppable.
Speaking from personal experience it’s by far my most valuable asset.
This asset is well, to sell what you are passionate about!
Passion sells!
When you speak, write, and base your itineraries on your enthusiasm, others will feel it, and you will alter their mental chemistry.
As I mentioned in my last newsletter, pick your clients. Clients that share a common interest and get together—ideally once a week—and know where to look and how to get in touch with them.
Use newsletters to reach your prospects (potential clients) and establish yourself as a knowledgeable leader about your shared passion with interesting information. A newsletter can expand your horizons, build confidence in your tour company, and give your audience a broader picture of who you are.
A newsletter can help you enhance your target audience. Place information about the newsletter on your website, and capture the information and contact details of new audiences by asking them to subscribe. Creating an engaging newsletter should be interesting as well as rewarding.
Writing a newsletter is not about fancy words but about sharing interesting stories, facts, and something educational. A catchy heading and subject line are important to catch a reader’s eye.
Email newsletters can be one of the best ways to promote your itineraries.
P.S. If you are interested in learning more about how to write a newsletter, read the next blog, where I will cover newsletter samples.
P.S. One more thing: it’s important! THE BIGGEST BONUS of all is the breakthrough technology called Local Booking, which will offer you the opportunity to see room availability across all your favourite accommodations in your region and get market clearing rates directly from accommodation owners for FREE! All YOU need to do is sign up here!
